Implications in the classroom
Students who are not proficient in the English education can struggle in your classroom in more than just learning the material. School is a very social setting where communication is a key factor in creating a positive learning environment. There are multiple perspectives that need to be taken into account to form an atmosphere of acceptance.
Child's
The make up of your classroom can influence how the child will feel. Most classrooms will have more than one ELL student. because of this, students do not feel isolated or excluded. Yet there are times when only one student in the class doesn't speak the same language as everyone else. It can lead to feelings of isolation, confusion, frustration and sadness.
Teacher's
Teachers can see an ELL student as a wonderful experience to further their teaching ability or they can see it as a burden. The second option is not a feeling of a good teacher.
Teachers can feel overwhelmed with the extra preparations that need to be taken to give that student the best learning environment. There are support systems that the teachers can use to help them understand their students.

Administration's
Schools are fun by their administrations and support staff. They communicate with the teachers, students, parents and community. A language barrier can be a difficult obstacle to over come.
It means having to share information in a way that everyone can understand and take into account that everyone might now understand in the same way. ELL usually have parents that English isn't their first language either. Communicating with a guardian who doesn't understand the language can be a great struggle. Positive and caring staff know how important it is to find a connection between everyone involved in that students education.

Parent's
Parents will want what is best for their child. communication between the parent, teacher and school is key to creating the best learning environment for any student. Now imagine if you, as a parent, do not understand (at all or partially) what is being communicated to you about your child's school experience. Maybe more importantly, you can not communicate to the teacher and school information about your child and their needs. It can be extremely frustrating and aggravating if the school doesn't have the proper support to help you communicate.
Other Student's
Depending on the grade level, students can be very accepting or very intolerant for the ELL student. What language the student speaks can also factor into how welcomed the student is. With the proper introduction and the correct approach used to get the students to understand the ELL student, most students will understand, accept and include the ELL student in all aspects of the classroom. Students need a little bit of guidance so they can understand how the ELL student will feel in their classroom.
